I am always on the hunt for a good clothing store option! I will be turning 30 in March so I feel like I am always looking for appropriate “mom” outfits that are also stylish! I want to share a few of my favorite stores to shop at. Please share your favorites in the comments!

Abercrombie & Fitch– I have recently become obsessed with A&F, much like I was at 16 years old haha! But for real, A&F has been so on point with trends lately for A LOT less than I remember things being when I was in high school. Their denim is still high quality and they have the coziest sweaters and fleece options. They also run sales OFTEN of up to 50% off, making things even more reasonable! It also doesn’t hurt that your clothes smell amazing for the first few times you wear them 😉
Loft– This is also a relatively new favorite of mine. I have always had hit or miss luck with Loft in the past but lately I am loving their cozy sweater options. They also often run sales of between 40-50% off so you can find really great deals!
Gap/Old Navy- You can never go wrong with these two sister brands. They offer cute clothing that compares look wise to much more expensive brands. I particularly love their workout gear, I wear a lot of their leggings and oversized athleisurewear.
Target- I couldn’t make this list and leave out my ALL time favorite one stop shop for everything! I generally am in a slight time crunch when I make my way into Targs but I love checking out the cute women’s clothing section. My favorite item’s to shop for at target are basic T’s and bathing suits surprisingly! Every spring/summer I flock to Target to find the cutest suits.
Free People– This brand is a little on the pricier side but I love the look of their items, particularly their oversized shirts. I love to browse the Free People section at my local Macy’s & Nordstrom Rack because they often offer additional discounts. On black Friday I scored this waffle knit oversized top for $38 (originally $68). It’s really comfortable and I wish I had it in all of the colors! I recommend sizing down if you buy this brand though.
Now, am I the only one who is wishing Forever 21 would open a Forever 31 store?! Please share other recommendations in the comments below!
Fall is most definitely here on the East Coast! There is a crispness in the air in the morning that is lingering into the afternoons. Leaves have changed and are starting to fall and we are spending our Sunday’s glued to the TV watching football! There is no better time than the present to talk about that transitional fall jacket.
One of my favorite fall clothing staples is a great jacket! One that you can throw on in the morning, afternoon or evening and it provides enough warmth while out and about. It’s not cold enough yet in Upstate New York for a full blown winter coat (although that time is coming…) so I want to share some of my favorite light weight jackets this season!
I’ve found some adorable options that can be worn year after year! So let’s get started . . .
This Northface Pink Jacket is so awesome! I’ve been living in it all fall. I love the bright color which is not something I typically pick out. It is perfect to throw on for a quick run (not too heavy) or just a trip to target, I even wore it on a chilly night in August to a concert!
Another go to store for me is Old Navy! This Old Navy jean jacket is so perfect and light weight! I’m always on the hunt for good basics such as this that I think can be worn year round and dressed up or down. I love that Old Navy offers affordable cute options!
I think a good leather jacket is a must in every girl’s closet! I have had this leather Jacket for a few months, I love it! It is great to throw on for a night out and it is a little “edgier” than something I normally go with.
A few other great options you can’t go wrong with this fall is a good trench coat & pea coat! These are such classics that never go out of style, many of these options can be worn in the spring as well.
I love when others share the inspiration behind their children’s rooms. Creating a special space for your little one can be hard, but is so worth it! To be honest, if I could get a job exclusively designing nurseries, that’d be ideal 😂
I love finding unique pieces or making something old new again. I also spend a lot of time just browsing small shops for different items (much to my husband’s dismay).
Marley’s room is one of my favorite spots in our home. When she was just a babe in my belly I knew I wanted her nursery to be a dreamy little girl room but not TOO girly. I incorporated greys, metals, dark purples and pinks to complete the look. I wanted a lot of these items to be able to transition to a “big girl” room and I think they will!
Marley is almost 17 months old so I know before long we will be updating this space to a “big girl” room. I’m not sure what the plan will be when that time comes but I know a lot of these items are transitional.
I splurged on items I felt made the space complete but also saved on larger items such as the dresser and nightstand. We also reused the babyletto crib that was Kellan’s. Some items I splurged on were the West Elm wire wall rack (similar), Bla Bla knit doll and the the giraffe print.
What is your favorite space in your home? What is the space you wish you could change? Would love to hear in the comments!
