Marley’s Room

I love when others share the inspiration behind their children’s rooms. Creating a special space for your little one can be hard, but is so worth it! To be honest, if I could get a job exclusively designing nurseries, that’d be ideal 😂

1. Wall Decals (similar)       2. White Book Ledge       3. Glider

I love finding unique pieces or making something old new again. I also spend a lot of time just browsing small shops for different items (much to my husband’s dismay).

Marley’s room is one of my favorite spots in our home. When she was just a babe in my belly I knew I wanted her nursery to be a dreamy little girl room but not TOO girly. I incorporated greys, metals, dark purples and pinks to complete the look. I wanted a lot of these items to be able to transition to a “big girl” room and I think they will!

Marley is almost 17 months old so I know before long we will be updating this space to a “big girl” room. I’m not sure what the plan will be when that time comes but I know a lot of these items are transitional.

1. Every Little Thing Print 2. Metal Letter M

I splurged on items I felt made the space complete but also saved on larger items such as the dresser and nightstand. We also reused the babyletto crib that was Kellan’s. Some items I splurged on were the West Elm wire wall rack (similar), Bla Bla knit doll and the the giraffe print.

What is your favorite space in your home? What is the space you wish you could change? Would love to hear in the comments!

    1. Yes! I didn’t want this to have a TOO babyish feel because a lot of the stuff in her room we will just re-use if we redecorate in a year or so for a “big girl room”.

  1. This is beautiful! I love all of the little details. You can tell a lot of thought went into this!

  2. I love the soft lighting and how you really could transition to a bigger kids room with the colors you have chosen! Smart tips!!

  3. That wall paint job is so cool! I am currently in the conceptual phase of re-doing just about every single room in my house, haha, so I’ll have to decide which one’s my favorite when I get them done, because right now it all feels like a hot mess 😉 My daughters’ room is pink pink pink and aqua, a little overdone on the girly, but I surprisingly actually love it!

  4. That room looks so cozy and just perfect. We have also given a makeover to our son’s room, now that winters are approaching we will be spending most of the times in his room. I have arranged the room inspired by Montessori way. And now we are in love with my son’s room.

  5. I love her nursery so so much!! It will definitely transition so perfectly to a big girl room! Her wall decals are literally perfection! Love it all mama! 🙌🏻

  6. Aww I love her room! We had the same concept designing our daughter’s room, we wanted something that could grow with her and not be too girly or too baby as I l didn’t want to be redoing her room in a few years. It’s my favorite spot in the house
